St. John Evangelical Lutheran Church is a member of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (ELCA). St. John was chartered in 1954, and in 1956 the current site was in use by the congregation. The main sanctuary was completed in 1970, the 66 rank pipe organ was installed in the 1980’s and the Hock education wing was added during that period as well. As we entered the new millennium, our sanctuary was completely renovated.
Our Vision, Serving the risen Lord through Worship, Discipleship, and Outreach, propels us toward excellence in worship, intentional learning and active outreach.
Our worship is our first and most important offering to God. In the midst of the assembly, Christ Jesus reveals himself and renews our life together.
Out of our worship flows a natural desire to learn more and to grow more deeply in the grace that is ours in Christ.
Sharing the gifts we have been given—in offerings, service and caring—defines our outreach in our Lord’s name.
We invite you to all that is ours in Christ!
