Education-Sunday School

Our Education Programs

Sunday mornings and Wednesday nights will be intriguing, informative and just plain fun! Our 2 year olds will have designed just for them in the Nursery. Our 3 and 4 year olds will play, learn, and grow In His love in our Pre-Kindergarten class. Children in Kindergarten through 8th grades will be part of the Salvation Story! We will study the Old Testament, creation through King Solomon.

The Salvation Story Students will gather each week for our opening. In addition to gel up off your seat videos, devotions will include unit theme and Scripture of the day. Through Teaching for Worship, our children will learn about the Church Seasons and Apostles Creed as it relates to the life of Christ. Offering envelopes wiII be sent home to help our children understand Stewardship. If the envelopes are forgotten, a basket of paper hearts to put their name on will be available. Everyone offers something to God in Thanksgiving- even if it is only our hearts.

Evangelism in the classroom Visitors are welcomed at our Grace Place along with a follow-up postcard being sent the next week thanking them for joining us and an invitation to come again. If a 4th through 8th grader does not have a Bible, one is presented to them gift wrapped!

Students will be divided into 3 teams. BIBLE BELIEVERS, K-2nd grades. YOUNG DISCIPLES, 3rd-5th grades. and FAITH FOLLOWERS, 6th-8th GRADES. Shepherds will guide the team members through the Rotation to engage in interactive learning Through: ART, DRAMA/MUSIC and GAMES. Sing, dance and glow under black lights. Work your way through Joseph's Maze of Troubles. Create your own Dream catcher. Our Shepherds will be the loving, constant presence throughout the rotations creating that important relationship building with the children. They will stay with the children after class in Room 209 to insure safe pick up by parents. Once a month, as our 4th rotation, we will all go on a Mission Adventure. Students will learn about mission work in many different countries through music, song, dance, crafts. games, Bible study, food and videos. We wiII celebrate Baptismal Anniversaries for the month as part of the festivities.

Be involved in your child's Christian Education! We are looking for parents to serve as Shepherds and on . Mission Adventure. We are building a Teacher Appreciation/Support Team as well. Call Anita Borman (407-299-4532) or E-mail anitabornman@cmail.com.
