Volunteers Wanted
Isaiah 6:8 Then I heard the voice of the Lord saying, "Whom shall I send? and who will go for us?" and I said, "Here am I. Send me!”
St. John has seen many miracles in these past few months. We have managed to accomplish and move forward with many of our ministries with God's Grace through our many volunteers. With such a small staff, volunteers are vital to keeping St. John's momentum going strongly forward. As we begin to plan for this summer's and fall's programs and ministries, the need for volunteers is even stronger. I ask that you prayerfully consider where God is calling you to serve and for His direction in leading you to be part of His plans for our future.
• Publicist (posters, information to web site, newsletter articles, bulletin announcements)
• MP3 player (downloading and maintaining the MP3 ministry to our shut ins and hospital bound)
• Kitchen coordinator (helping coordinate Wednesday night dinners/other events)
• Wednesday night ministry coordinator
• Receptions in Fellowship Hall (funeral, new members, celebration)
• Worship (choir, lay readers, greeters, ushers)
• Running Power Point during Contemporary Service
• Special events coordinator (Easter Egg hunt, Pumpkin patch party, Lessons and Carols Fellowship)
• Education (Vacation Bible School, summer and regular Sunday School)
• Volunteer Appreciation Team
• Visitation (visiting shut ins, hospital bound, etc.)
• Van Ministry (to provide rides to church for those that cannot drive)
